Kate is a Commercial Artist and Designer based in Detroit, MI + Brooklyn, NY.

Clients come to me to help give their project or brand a style and personality that transcends the boilerplate deck. With a passion for investigative insight into the zeitgeist and the populace of all things culture, I create visual conversations that always give a wink and a nod to their audience. Because who doesn’t love to feel that they’re in on it too?

My diverse portfolio of work is where storytelling meets striking imagery. Whether its pieces made for print - such as custom graphics for merchandise, print campaigns, and poster design; or visuals made for the screen (both motion and still!) perfect for use across all digital platforms including social media content, visual assets, or digital ad campaigns.

My particular technical skill set lies in dreaming up digital illustrations, photo based composite imagery, and old school motion graphics (gifs + video).

In addition to my graphic work, I also design and fabricate custom neon artwork and signage under Kate Hush.
